Creating content while keeping a full time job and still being a responsible contributor here at home with the shores isn't easy. If money wasn't an issue, I'd probably do this for free... But, since there's nothing free in the real world I must stayed grounded with some principles.

Marketing, promotion and dealing with social media is time consuming. This tier helps me surf those channels with a clear head

I'm an avid reader and really enjoying coding (which is way I ended up blogging about it instead of only limiting myself to the typical 9-5 routine). If there's a particular topic related to iOS development -or even mobile development in general- that you'd wish there was a post about this is the best way to grab my attention in order to focus on it and dig in through the polls

About Geeking with Mauri

Hey there 👋🏼

I am a professional coder, not only because I received a degree from a colleague saying so. Instead I continued educating myself with every new job I get.

After awhile I started noticing certain patterns: fuzzy requirements at work, people doing things just because instead of asking how or why they should (and in some cases shouldn't) do them, LONG hours -often without any extra compensation because "that was the right thing to do for the team"-, mediocre salaries behind a whole bunch of meaningless "perks" (a.k.a. low nutritional food, a play station console on the office and free beers every now and then)... To sum up, it's no wonder us programmers usually look older than our biologically age says so:

Then one day I started to pay attention at the habits of those few of us who were actually getting things done and seemed to be enjoying themselves while doing it. I discovered some patterns in these "super programmers" as well and have been practicing ever since.

Want to know the magic behind it? It's not that hard, it only requires discipline and patience. Join me to learn more
