Part-Time-ish Coding Begins!
By reaching this point, we will be able to get our coder to work part time on the project, between 60-80 hours a month as free time permits. Some days we may get ten hours of work, and others, two. But progress will be made.
Full Time Code Development Begins
I've managed to convince our coder to take a pay cut to work full time on the project, putting us at minimum 2,000 per month. Work will begin full time for our programmer. After taxes this is just enough to keep our him fed and housed per month, but it's pushing it really close.
As a side benefit, you will see the project progress and notice tickets for feature requests closed and marked as completed at a fairly steady rate.

Full Development Everything Begins
By reaching this admittedly high goal, we will be able to work on the project at nearly 40 hours a week between the two of us. A lot of work gets done during an average work day, but it seems that by the time that the day ends, there just isn't enough energy around, or Mountain Dew for that matter, to complete everything we wanted. By getting us here, you will have made it twenty times easier to achieve our goals as we have less to worry about.
As a side benefit, our testbed, public facing site, will have intermission ads completely removed.

Development continues at Full Time Plus
A super goal. We do not expect to get anywhere near this either, but if we do, you can bet we will use this to work overtime and hire on additional programmers and user interface designers. Why? Because I personally want the best looking and functioning software out there. Software written from the ground up. Created by people who have a degree in computer sciences or simply people who have a great understanding of coding in general.
You can expect development at 40+ man hours per person, per week, with this goal being met. You can also expect a demo test site set up for you to play around with and experience the usability improvements. You can also expect feature overload. A common issue with making such a massive update to an outdated site.
As a side benefit, our testbed, public facing site, will have all ads completely removed, and potentially replaced with something more useful to every user.

I want to continue developing software full-time and release a new 0.3 version as open source. I want to hire on additional developers. I want to get a hold of more designers. I want to do a lot. But alas, it costs money to make this a reality. Not too much initially, but enough to hit the wallet fairly hard (~$25 USD per hour). Hundreds and hundreds of hours have already been paid for, and as much as I try, I do not make enough in revenue from ads to continue paying as much as I should.
I'd love to have this project be a full-time job for our one and only programmer and expand the project to include more developers, but, as I said earlier, money is an issue for this to be a thing. If you'd like to help out our cause, or you just enjoy what we offer, that being an image board software, become a patron.
All money will first be used to pay our coder Geltas. This is our #1 priority.
To give you an idea of how long development will take with all the tickets on the tracker waiting to be worked on, it would be between 6-18 months before we have an alpha ready for public testing.
