Milestone Goals
Behind the scenes Art!
If this level is reached, I will post the full penciled pages of the the project I'm working on for Patrons backers to enjoy.
Art 'n More!
With
this amount, all patrons names will be put in a pot and once every four
months a winner will get a custom 11 x 17 illustration of the character of
their choice plus a digital color print!
Something Special!
With
this amount, I'll be able to afford some updated equipment and still be able to
support myself! At this amount, I will add
prizes like custom art products such as shirts and mugs into each previous tiers drawing for all Patrons!
Convention-Junction!
Along with updating equiment, I'll
start looking at buying spots for conventions a little further a field than the
Bay Area to get to meet some of you lovely people in-person!
Convention-UBERfunction and Exclusive art
I'll
start looking at buying spots for conventions way further a field than the Bay Area, like
cross-country! New York
Comic-Con anyone? Another great opportunity to get to meet some of you lovely
people in-person!
Additionally I will ask the current group of Patrons for mashup suggestions, similar to The Line is Drawn and will do an exclusive illustration for the group that can be downloaded for print and be used as a wallpaper.

All Most There!
At this level I will look to cut back at the day job and start working more on the book projects.
It's All Art!
At this level all the bills for living are paid and I can work full time on RLTPress and all the books. I will post daily progress and other exclusives.
New Studio!
If we get to this level I will look at moving my studio out of my apartment to a dedicated commercal location where patreons can come meet.
Your Project!
Really? $10,000?? I'm absolutely humbled. If we hit this level I will turn to you as a group to tell me what new story or project you'd like me to undertake. A new novel? Graphic Novel? Children's book? The new project will up to you, the patreons!
About

Currently I'm working on two comic book series and a children's book series.

Hi! Thank you for taking the time to look me up and learn
more about my work!
Who is this guy?
Who am I? I’m Gene Guilmette. I am a freelance gay artist and writer and I'm asking for your support as I continue to create my comics, kids book, novels and works of fine art.
I’m a multi-faceted freelance artist and writer in the Portland Or area. I’ve been drawing since I was knee high to grasshopper and to this day I look for fun and challenging projects to fill my studio with. Creating, telling a story-either in words or images is a passion for me.
I’ve done a little bit of everything over my freelance career, from art for charity to working as a faux finisher to writing original works of fiction, the latest being a children’s book. My work has been seen at fairs, on stage at community theater, conventions, the halls of government and even an indie film about struggling gay comic creators in San Francisco. If you aren't familiar with my work, you can learn more at my art imprint website www.rltpress.com or my facebook page.

What is this PATREON thing?
It's crowd-funding at its awesomest! Like Kickstarter, Patreon is a way to support an artist who's work you are passionate about. However unlike Kickstater, with Patreon you're not just backing or supporting a single project, but many. You are supporting the creator and all the projects he or she produces.
What is Gene doing in his studio?
As a Patreon, you will be helping me to continue to work on my many projects. By pleading as little or as much as you'd like you will help me in covering costs of conventions, website fees, replacing and updating equipment to allowing me to take time off from my day job from time to time to actually work on my passions and in turn share them with you and the rest of world. Ultimately my goal is to be able to turn this creator passion into a full time job. With your help, I can do that.
Beyond any custom work, such as sketch cards or original pieces of work, I currently have several projects on my desk under my RLT Press imprint as well as my weekly contribution to The Line it is Drawn over on the Comic Book Resources website.
InterSections, Sinners and the Sinless
This is a graphic mini series written by Rich Boutell with art by myself.
I'm currently working on the full color trade book. This is my main project for 2015.

The Protector Corps, Vol 1
This is a graphic mini series written and drawn by myself.
I've already publish the first two issues of this series. I've been writing the rest of the series as I work on the art for InterSections, but Issue three is still yet to be realized.

Between Here and There
A children's adventure book series. Stories by Desmond Miller, Written and Illustrated by myself.
The first book in the series, Between Here and the Lint Trap was competed in 2013 and Des and I've been utterly floored at how well it has been received by those who have read it.
Des and I are planning a total of four books in the series about a day in the life of JJay and his adventures of imagination.

WHAT DOES THE PATREON GET?
My goal here is to give the patreon as much of an insiders experience as possible. A "behind the scenes" as it were as well as early access to some of my work like full comic pages before they go to the printer or WIP posts that you can ask questions on. I plan to refine the rewards this as time goes on. but for now, here are the goodies...
