About
My name is Amy Stoddard and I love to create comics. I've been creating webcomics and self publishing them for quite a few years now, and I am also an artist for the women's adult comic site called Filthy Figments. I graduated from the Herron School of Art and Design with a dual Bachelors in Art Education and (believe it or not) Photography. When I'm not involved in art projects I like to collect ball jointed dolls and build dollhouses. My pets are also super important to me as well as nature, which are two elements you will see a lot of in my comics!

My name is Amy and I've been working on webcomics and self publishing my own comic books for quite a few years now. My current webcomic is Fine Sometimes Rain which is a slice of life tale about a girl named Georgia who is trying to overcome depression and reach her goals in life. Though it may sound heavy at first blush, there is also some romance and comedy mixed in as well!
Aside from Fine Sometimes Rain, I have also created two other webcomics, namely Aura and Wolves and Men, both of which are complete and are online to read for free. You can access all of my comics through my comics portal at www.genkigirl.com/comics. I update my comics at least once a week, so there is a guarantee of you supporting anywhere from 4-8pages of comics every month, not to mention extra art and side comics.
I am also an artist on the site called Filthy Figments which is an all female team of comic artists creating erotic comics for the female gaze. My current comic there is called My Neighbor the Magus and is a lighthearted tale about a workaholic girl who gets tangled up in magical hijinks courtesy of her neighbor, an absent minded and happy go lucky Magus. Aside from Magus, I also have quite a few other comic shorts on the site as well.
Patreon is a way you can give me a pat on the back and help support me in my comic making endeavors. Your donations can help me try to make a living doing what I love! As of right now I lose money putting my webcomics online for free as I have to shoulder all of the domain and hosting costs as well as maintain my equipment and buy materials like paper and lead. Your donations will go to the upkeep of everything related to my comics and hopefully help me be able to cover my own living expenses as well. It takes a lot of money and a lot of time and effort to put webcomics online, and your support will help ensure that I can still be able to do so instead of having to give in and resort to taking on full time employment in another less creative field.
