Welcome Ghouls! My name is Diana Levin and I'm an artist that loves to create macabre art along with the spooky cute things that go bump in the night. I also illustrate a self-published book series called The Ghoulish Grimoire, that is written by my partner in horror, Shawn Givens.

What I'm Working on Now

The Ghoulish Grimoire: 10 Book Goal

Shawn and I are creating an anthology horror series called the Ghoulish Grimoire. Each book is 5.5" x 8.5", 20-24 pages entirely in Black and White. Each issue contains 1-2 short horror stories (plus some poems) and my pen and ink illustrations. Back catalog of books already released are available for sale online  here.

Diana:

Ever since I was a little kid I loved to draw. I had pages in my sketchbook filled with drawings of people, animals, trees, and cartoons. In high school I discovered fantasy art and later got my hands on some beautiful fairy tale picture books from artist like Arthur Rackham and Kinuko Y. Craft. I read a lot of fantasy, science fiction, Gothic romance and was heavily influenced by works from Anne Rice and Edgar Allan Poe. Consuming all of these fantastic works in my early years has inspired me to pursue my own creations. Combined with my love for the supernatural and horror, I eventually developed a style that has become about celebrating the hauntingly beautiful.
