I’m so glad you’re here! In case we’ve never met, I am a singer/songwriter, speaker, graduate student, and all-around wacky chica. My ultimate goal is to offer hope in every lyric and story I share. Having been blind since age three, I’ve come to believe it’s possible for all of us to live a story of hope, no matter our circumstances. I’m looking forward to partnering with you to release music, videos, and podcasts that, above all else, communicate the beauty and power of that hope. Here are a few of the projects my phenomenal Patreon team has helped me produce so far:
Four new singles
Stand With Me lyric video
Remind Me lyric video
Magnified lyric video
Episode One of my How I See It podcast
And here are some other videos that show you a bit about my life:
How I See It Putting on Makeup
How I See It Baking Brownies
With 2020 just around the corner, I’m diving into a special multi-tiered project I’m calling my 20-20 Vision. The goal is to release a power-packed album of songs I’ve written or co-written, multiple music videos to accompany the album, and Season One of my How I See It podcast. The great news is that the music has all been written, and the interviews for the podcast season have been recorded. Now all we have to do is finish the production and launch everything out into the big world. That’s where you come in! As a member of my Patreon team, you will:
Be the first to hear and see all created content
Know the album title way before anyone else
Have access to behind-the-scenes footage and info
Get to offer your thoughts and ideas during the recording/creating process
And receive many other perks exclusive to Patreon
Patreon is a platform where you can join the teams of artists you love and, in return, receive behind-the-scenes perks such as un-released music, live chats with me and special guests, and backstage access to concerts. Anyone can listen to my music and podcast or watch my videos online for free, but Patreon is for those who value this content so much that they want to help create it.
Music, videos and podcasts cost money to create but are consumed virtually for free. Each time a song is streamed, for instance, the artists and writers share a whopping ¼ cent royalty. Your patronage will make it possible for me to produce content despite that fact. Better yet, you get to be part of my team! My favorite part of Patreon is the interaction. I love having a crew to share music and ideas with, and I would be super honored to invite you into that space.
Here’s what your patronage will help create:
I’ll release a new song every 8-12 weeks, and a new album in 2020.
As a patron, you’ll hear the music I’m creating before anyone else does, and in our hangouts, you’ll get to hear the stories and heart behind the songs. But best of all, you’ll have access to the entire album before anyone else does.
Many of you have said you enjoy watching my lyric, live performance, and How I See It videos. Your patronage will help me produce them in a sustainable fashion, and you’ll get to hear and see how I make them.
I have completed three episodes of season one of my “How I See It” podcast, a show where we chat with folks from all walks of life and ask the question, “What can I learn from how you see the world.” I have recorded interviews for at least 5 more episodes, which would round out this first season. You’ll get a behind-the-scenes look on Patreon, and can even be a producer if you like!
Thank you so much for partnering with me in these ventures of creativity! I look forward to being on this journey with you.
