Welcome to my Patreon. I'm Gabrielle Motola, an award-winning photographer, writer, and educator with a background in film editing and colour grading. My passion is connecting with people, sharing their stories through a unique blend of visual storytelling and psychological insight, and empowering individuals to overcome barriers, enhancing their creativity and confidence in photography and life. I've studied at the University of Miami, the Spéos Institute in Paris, and I'm currently pursuing a post-graduate degree in Therapeutic Photography in Scotland.

I've been making photographs for 26 years, yet it still feels like I'm at the beginning - in the best possible way. My work has been recognized with awards, displayed in esteemed galleries like the National Portrait Gallery, published as a book, and featured in prominent publications, including The Guardian.

My work serves as a means to nurture self-awareness and foster a deeper understanding of my psyche and the world around me. I explore themes of equality, mental well-being, challenge gender norms, and harness the evocative power of photography to drive personal growth and perhaps even societal change. Based in London, my natural adaptability makes me feel comfortable in any setting, especially when exploring the world on a motorcycle.
