About
Grandmaster Puzzles was founded by Thomas Snyder (aka Dr. Sudoku) to gather some of the most phenomenal puzzlemakers and start sharing hand-crafted sudoku and other logic puzzles on a regular basis with puzzlers from around the world. Thomas is a three-time world sudoku champion, six-time US puzzle champion, and the author of many books of puzzles. With Mike Selinker, he literally wrote the book on making puzzles with "Puzzlecraft: The Ultimate Guide on How to Construct Every Kind of Puzzle".

While most of the sudoku and other logic puzzles that you find out there are "soulless", computer-generated, and totally forgettable, at Grandmaster Puzzles we strive to create something different. Our puzzle grandmasters make puzzles that maintain the human touch, that go outside of the box, that challenge you in new and unexpected ways. This is the joy of puzzling to us! We want to keep sharing our artistic, mentally stimulating puzzles with the world, but competing with cheap computer-generated content isn't easy as few publishers are interested in paying for our work. While they don't understand the quality difference, our fans definitely do. Your support will keep our artistic approach to puzzle-making going strong.
You'll find our (almost) daily puzzles on our blog. If you've never tried our puzzles before, you might want to start with some of our classic sudoku or the best puzzles from 2013 and 2014 as voted on by our readers, including our best sudoku.
