Hey folks, my name is Tim Shorts and I've been gaming since '79.  I did not know on that faithful winter night when I raided a Yahtzee game for dice and tried to wrap my head around this weird game with no board, that I'd still be playing it today.

What's a Micro Adventure?
A micro-adventure is a situation, one to five encounters and maybe one or two battles or problems to overcome.  Micro-Adventures set up other adventures, or used between or during larger quests.  Most Micro-Adventures are stand alone adventures, but I have been known to create a series of adventures or a micro-sandbox.

Game System
Since late 2016 I've been writing my adventures using the Swords & Wizardry Light system created by Erik Tenkar.  It is a free system, available on-line, just click the link.  I've gotten a preview of the expanded version of the rules, Swords & Wizardry Continual Light.

My Maps & Content
A Micro-Adventure includes hand-draw a map (by me), usually in color with the occasional computer generated maps.  Within these adventures I often create new magic items, spells, or monsters.  Micro Adventures are written for the fantasy genre, but I've got ideas for sci-fi, western, and horror.

How big exactly is a Micro-Adventure?
Most of my Micro-Adventures fit on a 4" x 6" notecard or a half page (8" x 5.5").  This includes the map and all the written content.  Sometimes they get as large as a folded, one-page zine style.

Frequency
My goal is to produce two to three Micro-Adventures a month. With the new goals achieved, I include an NPC card each month and with each product I release I offer my advice, suggestions on how to use the adventure and NPC.

You can let me know what kind of mini-adventures you'd like to see.  While my artistic talents are limited I'll do my best.  I'm always looking for something I hadn't thought of.

* Suggest locations where you would like to see the next micro-adventure set

Laminated Micro-Adventures
$2.50 or more per Micro-Adventure 11 patrons
I'll randomly select folks from this section for names of NPCs they'd like to see included.  Make your best friend the villain of the adventure.  Name the adventure after yourself.  I plan on doing it to my friends.
* Gratitude
* Suggest locations where you would like to see the next micro-adventure set
* Suggest names, make your ex-girlfriend or ex-boyfriend or co-worker the next villain
* Receive a laminated 4" x 6" version of most micro-adventures
Laminated and Zine Micro-Adventures
$5 or more per Micro-Adventure 18 patrons
You're going to make me nervous if you like my stuff enough to give me this much.  But if you are so inclined you'll get all the benefits from the other donation levels, plus I'll ship out physical copies of the adventures to you and a surprise every once in a while.

Getting my Micro-Adventures in the mail just isn't enough for you? How about playing on-line? Get together with some new players, roll some dice, kill monsters and help me playtest some of my adventures. When I schedule an adventure I'll notify you first. I hope to get a handful of folks interested in having an impromt game night  a couple times a month.

 As a Keeper of Maps, you have  all the rewards of the other tiers. Plus, you receive one of my original maps, framed, each month. Not a copy, the real thing. The maps are randomly selected. Because of the extreme cost of shipping I need to limit this tier to USA only.

Anchor station dedicated to my Micro-Adventures. I would talk about what I'm working on and what process (if there is one) I'm using to develop the adventure.
