Since 2012, GoUNESCO has been creating unique, global initiatives that make heritage more accessible, interesting and fun that have reached thousands of people across the world! Apart from insightful articles on our completely ad-free website gounesco.com, we organize a quarterly campaign called #makeheritagefun where we activate people to get involved and act upon heritage instead of watching from the sidelines.

We are completely lean, self-supported and rely on voluntary effort. Our funding, where required is drawn as expenses of Go Heritage Runs (goheritagerun.com). This model however constrains us from doing more and your support, contribution will help us with our future goals:

- Building a GoUNESCO Mobile app to connect heritage enthuiasts around the world.
-  Ensure wider reach to #makeheritagefun campaigns across the world
-  Publishing regular high quality articles on gounesco.com

  • Receive a Toda embroidered souvenir bracelet handmade in Ooty. The black and red embroidery work is known as Pukhoor and is GI certified too – meaning it can only be called so if it is made in the Nilgiris, India's famous Blue Mountains. These bracelets have been designed and created by a Shalom Ooty, a self-help women's group of Toda artisans from the region.

  • Receive a  framed miniature painting from Rajasthan - It is designed by local artisans and is entirely handmade – just the frame is made in 10 individual steps; the intricate painting is quite clearly incredible! It features a Marwari horse –  quite a common feature in Rajput artwork primarily because rulers and their warriors took great pride in their horses. In fact, the different Rajasthani kingdoms had their own art schools and each had  their own unique style of horse painting.
