is creating A Record Album

I am a Billboard Top 10 American Roots artist - I want to make another album like my 2017 hit "Dust Bowl - American Stories" and I need your help! My mission is to make albums that connect to history and which are "about something." Music has the power to entertain and educate. For example, my previous record was set in the time and place of the Dust Bowl, an environmental and economic disaster that plagued the middle of the country for most of the 1930s. It rarely rained for most of the decade, and we had over-plowed the prairie grass from the driest, hottest part of the country. Combined with the Great Depression, this led to a real catastrophe that made 3 million Americans homeless, unwanted "aliens" inside their own country. The album resonated with tens of thousands of people who bought it, and it spent 17 weeks on the Billboard charts, including eleven weeks in the TOP 10 of the Americana/Folk Album Sales Chart. NO DEPRESSION magazine, the bible of American Roots music said: “...a heartland masterpiece ... lyrics and music as potent as Woody Guthrie ... sent chills down my spine ... bound to become a classic ... A reminder of the darker period of Bob Dylan, and it’s that good, that memorable...”

This album will be called "Appalachia - American Stories" - the second in the series of music taken from the pages of our history. Much of my family is from that region, which has been plagued with problems like isolation, and the negative stereotype of the "ignorant hillbilly" for more than a century. This region has seen the rise and fall of the coal industry, and an exodus to the industrial midwest during the 1940s and 1950s. Today, lack of education and not enough good jobs have led to a huge opioid crisis. At the same time, there are so many wonderful things about the region and the people, starting with the incredible mountain music that they created, which has led directly to country, bluegrass, and the American Roots style that I do. Won't you help me bring this album to life and put your stamp on our history? I would deeply appreciate your help, and bring you along on this journey of music making.
