We've been super-quiet ever since we started Tavern Keeper several years ago and while the game is not ready yet, we'd love to give our followers and fans the chance of seeing more than just the occasional newsletter and social media post.

Depending on the supporter level you choose, you can expect mini-dev-logs, access to several premium discord channels where we will share development snippets such as screenshots, animated gifs, videos, music concepts and more. You'll also get early access to our new Greencast podcast as well as special behind-the-scenes episodes and other surprises.

What is Patreon?
Patreon is a membership platform. You pay a monthly fee (which you can cancel anytime) and in exchange you get access to our member-only content and benefits.

What is Discord?
Discord is a real-time chat and voice communication platform that is particularly popular among gamers. After joining our Patreon and connecting your Discord account, you will get access to VIP Discord channels where we will hang out with the community and share material from the game in a more casual way.

Will I get free game keys as a Patreon?
None of the tiers include early access or game keys. This Patreon is for getting behind-the-scenes access to dev logs as well as snippets and artifacts from our development progress. It is not intended as a way to get access to the game.

Is this a crowd-funding campaign for Tavern Keeper?
No, we are fortunate that the development budget and plans of Tavern Keeper are not reliant on crowd-funding. We didn't start this Patreon to help finish the game financially but to have more drive to share our progress with those interested. Funds from the Patreon will be used to create more materials, merchandise designs and other experiments around the game.

How do loyalty rewards work?
Loyalty rewards are rewards that you'll get from us after you have been a Patreon for a certain time. Example: If you are part of the Supporter tier for six consecutive months, we'll send you a postcard. If you are a super-fan supporter, we'll add a little gift as well. Loyalty rewards don't repeat and are only gained once but we might introduce new ones as the Patreon matures.

What about the fans who can't join the Patreon?
We know that not everyone can join a Patreon and that's okay. We hope that this experiment will be of long-term benefit to all of our followers, as it will allow us to create more content and merchandise, some of which we then share with a wider audience. We'd love to have you on board but we appreciate every single follower or fan who supports us in any way 💚
