The games I would daydream about were mostly superhero based adventures inspired by their comics, like my Fantastic Four project. I would always dream about a Fantastic Four beat em up style video game being released into the arcades. I can also remember how frustrated I would get playing the Konami X-men the arcade game, beating endless small sentinels instead of the giant ones.
All that has lead me to my current projects: Beat em Up style arcade games:
So now you may be asking, "Why does he need money to do his fan games?" And the answer is for 2 reasons:
1- I am a coder, I cannot create the sprites myself, so I am constantly searching for games and contacting artists to use their sprites in my projects. If I receive some help, I can commission artists to create one of a kind sprites and content directly for my games. I would also be able make donations to the artists who have allowed me to use their sprites as form of gratitude for helping create my dream games.
2- Sometimes I have to sacrifice my free time into other jobs to get some extra money. If I had some patreons I can continue doing what I love and speed up the development of all my projects!
"And what about the games that I have already made?"
