Hi, our names are Niomie &amp; Steven, and we are the creators of Guinea Pigs Australia We have set out to create Australia's first physical store dedicated to Guinea Pigs and Rabbits. It will NOT be a pet shop where you can simply purchase a new pet, our focus will ALWAYS be on the rescue and adoption process and education. We plan to make this first location a destination to visit, as well as employing a talented team of passionate cavy and bunny experts. Our new location and team will allow us more flexibility to help out the wider guinea pig and rabbit community with events like adoption days and donation drives as well as allow us to expand our range of guinea pig and rabbit products that we can make available to our patrons. Primary use of the funds will go toward the initial outlay of the shop and warehouse, this means the actual fittings, building, racking, equipment and machinery like forklift and packaging and dispatch, new photo and video rooms for cage building and other videos. Funds will be used to grow and establish a cavy and bunny team to help you out when you visit the store,  and also dispatch your guinea pig or bunny palace when you order online. Our teams focus will also be working towards increasing awareness of guinea pigs and rabbit welfare, working with rescues hosting adoption days and donation drives to help rescues directly. This new space will allow us to further develop our work with chain stores and retail outlets to get healthier food and treats for guinea pigs and rabbits onto the shelves, as well as a higher standard of homes and enclosures which have the pet in mind first and foremost. We want to shift retail stores away from the small claustrophobic cages to real homes for guineas and buns within the family home. As some people know we also do boarding in a limited way, we plan to incorporate our boarding into this new space, which will make access to boarding facilities even easier and more available. Who we are currently We are Australia's largest online store of small animal brands dedicated to Guinea Pigs and Rabbits. Everything in our store is tried, tested and safe for our customers. We also have the largest active Australian based facebook community who offer care and advice to each other. We offer interactive maps to find 1. Boarding homes when you are away on holiday 2.
