Gunner Detroit

My name is Alan Gunner Lindbloom, but most people just call me Gunner. Raised in Metro Detroit, I was once described by the FBI as “an enforcer for elements of the Detroit Mafia.” Eventually, I ended up in prison for 13-50 years. But something magical happened in those cold dark prison cells. I discovered my love for writing. It came so easy that right away I knew I had a gift. And when I walked out of prison four years ago, I had nine complete novels. The day after I was released, I married my best friend and soulmate, Maria! A few months later, I published my debut TO BE A KING novels, Volume 1 & 2. Within days Volume #1 cracked the top #50 in its genre. Both volumes currently have 5-star reviews across the board. Shortly after releasing my books, I launched “OUR THING” Apparel, my new line of apparel and accessories.

I live by a simple maxim: You can’t make up for lost time, but you can do your best to enjoy what you have left. This is why I never waste a day. Each day is a new adventure. That’s how I approach life. Everything is out there for the taking. So I take it! One day I might be in New York promoting my books, the next day I might be camped in the wilderness. Life is about pursuing passions and dreams. And that is exactly what I do. In fact, my writing and my day-to-day/outdoor adventures have garnered me an organic following of over 600,000 people who are constantly telling me what an inspiration I am. I assure them that I’m only getting started. I haven’t even scratched the surface!
