Hi,
My name is Birgit Pauli-Haack. I am the creator of Gutenberg Times, a site where I curate the output of community voices related to the new WordPress visual editor, code-named Gutenberg.

I have been a web publisher since 1996. Since then I have helped thousands of people get on the Internet and find like-minded folks with whom to share their voices. I first saw an early version of Gutenberg in June 2017 in Paris. Ever since then I have been fascinated by the ideas behind it, and how they touch all members of the web-building community: developers, designers, content creators, writers, site admins and consultants.

The body of Gutenberg information is fragmented, so I set out to bring it all together in Gutenberg Times. I publish in two basic formats covering various topics:
  • Round-up posts: A large collection of interesting tweets, posts, photos, and sites from the previous week.
  • Weekly eNews: The five or six most important stories and original content such as instructions on getting started with Gutenberg, secret tips for content creators, and developer resources.

Your investment in Gutenberg Times helps fund the site for coming months. With it you contribute directly to my alerting a great many bloggers, site owners and organizations to the great changes coming to WordPress.

Gutenberg Times has no paywall. We publish under Creative Commons and we participate in the open web. I will appreciate your giving any amount you can.

Your support helps me, Birgit Pauli-Haack, to offset some of the time I spend learning, curating and summarizing content related to Gutenberg.

As an ongoing backer of the Gutenberg Times, you'll receive a Gutenberg Times sticker to show your support! And if you share your twitter handle with me, I will post random thank you tweets on @gutenbergtimes feed .

In addition, you will occasionally receive emails of "Behind the Scenes" news.
