About Gwendolyn Fitz

Hello! I’m Gwendolyn Fitz. I’m a singer-songwriter and ukulele player living in Brooklyn, NY. If you’ve been following me for awhile, you may know I do a bunch of different projects throughout each year, but my two biggest projects are creating music and The Brooklyn Ukulele Festival.

Starting in the summer of 2021 I’ll be releasing a new song every 1-2 months. Patrons on Patreon will be able to see behind the scenes in the studio and receive free song downloads and chord charts for each new song I create.

Along with these new songs I’ll still be creating weekly videos on YouTube of me playing in various spots around the city to showcase not only the parts of New York that make me love it so much, but also to promote the Brooklyn Ukulele Festival.

I started the Brooklyn Ukulele Festival back in 2018, and it’s been growing every year-even during the pandemic we still held Virtual Ukulele Festivals and events throughout the year. I’d like to keep these Virtual Ukulele Events going as we get back to having in-person festivals again. But, these do cost money and time to put together! With you as a Patron, I’ll be able to do more for the festival when it comes to the venue, length of the festival, teachers, performers, etc. My goal for the Brooklyn Ukulele Festival is to make it a place where ukulele players from all around the globe can come and enjoy this community we have in New York. With your patronage, you’ll be privy to inside details of putting on the festival, blog posts, discount codes, votes on merch, etc.

Thank you for supporting my career as a musician and ukulele player! It really does mean the world to wake up and do what I love for a living. I have you to thank for making this possible.

Best,
Gwendolyn Fitz
