About Hammer Shark

Hammer Shark is a multi-genre music project. The three of us -- Boris, Hezel, and Nikki --  used to make ole timey country music together in a band called Black Diamond Express Train to Hell (later, known as Battenkill Ramblers). Now we make electronic music, and sad guitar music, and whatever other music takes our fancy from the dark music caves in our living rooms. Then we release it on the internet, DIY or die.

We are currently on a Patreon hiatus! If you join up, patrons get all our songs freefreefree and firstfirstfirst. But we are looking into other models to support our song writing habits. Subscribe, or don't, just have a listen to the tunes, cause that's what we're all here for.

Hammer Shark music - That's Not Water

We released our first album, That's Not Water, digitally (Spotify, iTunes, YouTube music, etal) all thanks to support from our Patreon Patrons. Listen to it on Spotify here. Or search Hammer Shark + That's Not Water on the digital music platform of your choice. It's on near all of them.

If you just want to listen rightthissecond, just click play on the video below. It's the very first song we wrote and published, and it's called More Fool Me:

Uncover - click play on the video below - was one of our first collaborations with Reverend Synth aka Hezel, who brings the 80s electro synth sound to the Hammer Shark party. He just showed up to practice one day and was like "I'm joining the band," and yeah I'd say we're all really glad that happened.

A glass of whiskey for nostalgia:

Below you can have a listen to a song we wrote as/with Battenkill Ramblers in 2011, from the album Around My Grave Sing Songs of Joy. It's about waiting out the apocalypse on the top of a high-rise and taking out as many zombies as possible before committing a double suicide-murder. Yeah, all our songs are that cheerful.
