Growing up I faced many trials that no child or young adult should have to face. In order to overcome this life I knew I needed to make it all mean something, I wanted to make sure it was not in vain. From this, a passion was born to help others overcome their own adversities.

I have a master's degree in counseling with an emphasis in trauma and crisis and am currently enrolled in a doctor of psychology program (PsyD). I hope to use this knowledge as well as my own experiences to increase awareness, create better representation and improved education around mental health.

In order to do this I have begun creating content that can reach the general population, not just mental health professionals. These projects include blogs, video content and speaking events.

I am hoping to use these funds to continue these efforts by attending conventions, networking and getting involved with panels and other collaborations.

Thank you for your support
