Hashtag Basketball is creating Fantasy Basketball Tools
16

patrons

I started Hashtag Basketball in 2012 as a place where I could create tools for myself to use to help beat my friends in fantasy basketball. Turns out other people find them useful too. Since then the website has expanded to also cover the NBA in the form of articles and podcasts.

So far I've created 19 free fantasy basketball tools, and a suite of tools specially made for Yahoo Fantasy Basketball leagues.

My aim for Hashtag Basketball is to always keep the tools free and available for everybody to use, and with more people using ad blockers (I don't blame you, I use them too) I figured setting up a Patreon page should be a good way for people to show their support and say thanks.

What will I be doing with the pledges?

The only time I get to work on these tools is after work, and after everybody in the house has gone to sleep. Coffee isn't cheap, so most of it will be going towards my coffee fund, and if enough people pledge, it might even be able to cover my web hosting bill.
Tiers
Supporter + Slack
$2 or more per month
Say thanks by contributing to the coffee that keeps me awake at night while I build these tools, and get access to a private channel on our Slack group.
Slack + Voting + Early Access
$3 or more per month
Get access to a private channel on our Slack group, receive access to new tools being created before they go live on the website, and vote on new features that get added to the website.
Superfan
$5 or more per month
Everything in the Slack + Voting + Early Access tier, but at a higher monthly price for those who are awesome.
Goals
16 of 20 patrons
When I reach 20 patrons I will create a fantasy basketball community on Slack for our users. This Slack group will consist of private channels for our Patreon subscribers, and public channels for non-subscribers.

The pledges will go towards the running cost of player news and updates, that will be sent to specific channels in real-time.
