I'm Tara Welker, and I draw and write the ongoing webcomic Heartcore! I also do commission work and routinely release incentive pieces - which ranges from wallpapers, naughty pictures, all the way up to merchandise!
The main reason the comic gets on the backburner is usually the commission work - so I was thinking, what about trying to bring the comic to the forefront again? For three years straight, I updated Heartcore twice a week. That's big fully colored pages, telling the story of some strange demons doing some strange things! Life happened, that and me wanting to redo the comic after getting considerably better at art, layouts, and storytelling (or so I like to think!) The commission work / focus has led to considerably slower updates.
But I am definitely looking to change that. If I can focus on the comic, and set aside the need to take on as much commission work, all the better!
There will be of course rewards to consider~ I have been releasing incentive donation packs for a few years now, so I am experienced. I'm going to make a bigger focus on digital rewards, but I already have a bevy of physical rewards!
