Hello, and thank you for stopping here. Read on and enjoy...

Even after the end of the year-long Kawaii365 project in 2017, the blog (www.kawaii365.blogspot.com) is still running :) And after some serious thought & planning - there are some new characters coming your way!

Inspired by 'just drawing in kawaii style', they are adorable & friendly animal hybrids, called Zoo'd. All 12 of their character profiles are up on their blog - www.zoodanimalfriends.blogspot.com

And you will see them in coloring books (on my Etsy shop), tee shirts (my RedBubble shop), a voicing video, web comics and maybe someday, after some votes on Jazwings, possibly as plush stuffies. If you're gonna dream, do it big!

So if you love animals, and you love cute & funny stuff, then follow along and stay tuned to this Patreon page ^_^

Hello everyone!
Or as I often say on my kawaii blog, konnichiwa which is Romanji (written Japanese) and means Hello. The above video is a little 'taste' for you, of one of the many things I like to do as a kawaii artist and blogger ^_^

My name is Daryl, and I am a  woman from Red Deer, Alberta, Canada. I am a quirky Pisces with ADD and the most amazing husband in the world! (seriously, Rob is very supportive of my artistic endeavors and it is appreciated).

In July 2016, we attended an adult coloring event at the library here, and it changed my life forever! I won a free copy of the book Unstuck by Skull-A-Day celebrity and author, Noah Scalin. After reading the book for awhile, I was hit with sudden inspiration to dive in full force and create none other than a daily, year-long project dubbed #kawaii365.

'Kawaii' is the Japanese word meaning cute, and that's the style of my art.

This daily art project and blog helped drive me to live a better quality of life, as it helped me to:
-Reduce stress, associated with my ADD
-Get over shyness and meet new people; make good friends :)
-Express myself
-Collaborate with others
-And help us with day-to-day financial needs, such as mortgage, bills, and groceries

And pledging can help you by:
-Giving you a daily smile to alleviate the stress from the world
-Inspiring you to try a project of your own :D
-Having a good laugh at some of my worst attempts
-Getting a chance to have your own stuff featured on the blog, and getting viewers for you
-Learning new & interesting tidbits about Japanese culture and language
-Getting some fun coloring pages to enjoy in your downtime

Here are some samples of this kawaii blog's favorites:

I would love to thank you in advance for helping support my blog www.kawaii365.blogspot.com as I embark on a daily art/craft journey, doing everything that I can in true kawaii (cute) fashion! I couldn't blog and create full time without amazing supporters like you! Thank you.
Rewards
Only A Dollar + You Get to Color!
$1 or more per month 1 patron
For only $1/month, you'll get cute printable coloring sheets drawn by me. Look for a new one each month, with a current interest in ones from the Zoo'd coloring book in my Etsy shop .

Patrons also get a 40% discount code from my shop!

And access to several Patron-only posts ;) ;)

Goals
$1 of $250 per month
Now that it's been proven that my hard work (and going outside of my comfort zone and collaborating with others) leads to amazing results, I feel more secure in this request:
When 250 individual people each pledge to give $1 a month, I'm going to save it toward the new chapter of kawaii cute art - and invest it in Zoo'd Animal Friends!

That extra $250 would go toward supplies for creating, as well as marketing (such as Vista Print, & cost of advertising).

I'm not asking you for more than $1 per month, because you earn your money. However you would mean the world to me if you could share my Patreon page with your social media and close friends. The more (and sooner) you share, the farther-reaching this becomes! And Karma has a way of bringing shared rewards right back to you!

Thank you so much!
xoxo Daryl J.
