My name is Henry, and I cover defence and security for the UK Defence Journal. I also publish a broad range of content on my personal Twitter, found here

My coverage ranges from live updates on conferences and hearings, to exclusive defence and security imagery from around the world, to providing real-time updates on developing situations. Recent examples of this include my coverage of the Kerch Strait crisis in November 2018, and the India-Pakistan standoff in February 2019.

I do this alongside my studies at the University of Exeter, where I focus on conflict & security studies. Despite being a student, I try to devote as much time as possible to producing high quality content. I am not paid for this; I do it because I love bringing you the stories that matter. I'm passionate about the coverage I provide. The world is fascinating but volatile, and you need to hear about it.

Those who support me will receive exclusive benefits, outlined on my profile. These include an increased level direct communication, substantial input as to what I cover and investigate, and advanced access to what I’m currently working on.

For me information, please feel free to email me: [email protected]
Tiers
Tier 1
$2 or more per month

You'll receive a personalised thank you message, and an invite to an event in London when I reach 30 Patreons.

Level 2
$7 or more per month

All Tier 1 benefits, plus:

You will be able to follow my exclusive private Twitter, where I post constant and otherwise unseen updates on what I'm currently working on and investigating.

Other benefits will be added in due course....(you'll have the freedom to suggest these benefits!!)

Level 3
$11 or more per month

All Tier 1 & 2 benefits, plus:

You'll get advanced access to all my stories. You'll also be able to suggest story ideas, or ask that I investigate something.

This tier basically gives you the ability to ask me anything - advice, predictions, Twitter tips etc. For example I'm in the process of writing a very comprehensive guide to the use OSINT in developing situations. This is currently intended for my own benefit, but I would happily share it with anyone interested.

For those interested in long reads/academic style papers, I have written many for research and university purposes. These range from international relations theory, to Russian geopolitics, to future conflict. Again, you'd be more than welcome to have access to any of these you chose!

I'll also send you a hand written thank you letter (jokes may or may not be included....)

Goals
19 of 30 patrons
When I reach 30 patrons, I'll host a thank you drinks in London where everyone can meet each other, and discuss things other than defence and security!
