Henshin History is, ostensibly, a podcast about tokusatsu and Japanese superheroes, from the beginning to now, hosted by Alexa Hollow, Sven Michel, and Van Ong. With multiple years of our  lives lost to tokusatsu, we hope to be able to shed some light on what makes it so interesting and compelling, no matter how many half-baked movie crossovers, terrible year-long show-runners, or teeth-grindingly incompetent scriptwriters the genre may throw at us!

Don't know your Kamen Rider from your GARO? Frustrated by the endless reboots, hard or soft, that never stick? Grew up on Power Rangers and wanna try Sentai, but don't know which of the forty-something shows to even begin with? We're here for you, friends. We've been training for this moment for years, and this show is what we finally have to prove it.

We're going from the beginning of Toei tokusatsu and its pre-origins with Shotaro Ishinomori's early work and Cyborg 009. From there, we're going to Kamen Rider in 1971--and following it, Super Sentai, Metal Heroes, and whatever other shows come along for the ride, all the way to the present. Superheroes should be accessible no matter where they're from, and especially when they're from decades-old shows for six year olds. That's where we come in.

We all have responsibilities outside producing this show. With your support, we can cover our show's overhead costs like hosting, DVDs, comics and production equipment. It will also allow us to spend more time working on the podcast and the site, meaning more content, additional features, and so much more.
Tiers
Foot Soldiers
$1 or more per month 0 patrons
The knowledge that you're contributing to the cause! We love you! NOTE: Henshin History takes no responsibility for any punches by kung-fu bugmen that donors at this level may endure.
Elite Foot Soldiers
$2.50 or more per month 1 patron
Even more self-satisfaction for contributing to the show! Also, you probably get more lines than the previous tier and might even force our heroes to do a midseason upgrade!

Starting at this level donors will get to vote in polls for a monthly bonus episode, once we reach a certain goal of support.
Monster of the Week
$5 or more per month 2 patrons
We're still working on figuring out this one but there will be tangible STUFF! Stickers or pins or whatnot!

And behind the scenes updates! Production notes, our notes and outlines, that kind of thing!

Also, stay at this level for 12 consecutive months and get on-air thanks! Possibly in a character voice!
Enemy General
$10 or more per month 0 patrons
Look at you! Those traitorous cyborgs won't know what hit them!

At this tier you receive all previous benefits, as well as:
- For every three months at this level of support, you receive on-air thanks in a voice or something!
- For every twelve consecutive months, we will curate and send a care package of ephemera related to whatever show we are currently covering! Toys, bits of merchandise, possibly a copy of related material.
- Being a fan favorite character!
The Great Leader
$20 or more per month 1 patron
A tier of support forcing us to go all out! At this level idk yet but we love you and you get all the stuff from before.
Goals
$39 of $100 per month
We'll open polls where donors at the Elite Foot Soldier level or above can vote to choose a monthly bonus episode outside of our normal coverage.
