Hello everyone, We are "Heroes Workshop"
Our goal is to bring you entertaining cosplay building content for years to come on a regular basis. With your help, we can make our dream a reality.

Origin of Heroes Workshop:

Stefano (Stealth): It was a cold March in 2009. While recovering from a break dancing knee injury (No joke) is when I needed to do something with myself to keep from going nuts. I wasn't able to break dance and that was a serious passion and I needed a hobby to fill the void to pass the time. That's when I saw a Halo costume on YouTube and couldn't believe someone had made that at home. After seeing it, I did a bunch of research, got some supplies and made my first Master Chief Costume using the pepakura paper craft method available. After that I was hooked.

Coming Full Circle:
I've always enjoyed sharing what I had learned in the early stages of our my journey.
So, I thought I'd create a YouTube channel to start showcasing my work and also used that platform to create tutorials using the Pepakura Designer Software.
I made videos that taught how to build costumes using card stock, cardboard and then eventually I evolved it to foam building.

After a few years of that, I eventually did the client based costume/prop maker gig as a business for a while but my passion was never there. I felt like I was just going through the motions doing the same repetitive product orders for other people. I didn't want to be a "factory". Ultimately, I got back to the roots of what made me love building.

Present Day:
I now build my current projects all out of foam and I have a blast sharing the process, along with techniques via YouTube videos. I've invested a lot to build a new workshop space and really give YouTube a go and have a blast in the process just living in the moment and bringing you enjoyable and informative content on a weekly basis.

How You Can Support Heroes Workshop:
With your pledges as patrons. we can keep the channel consistent.
The goal is to use the funding support to help pay for the shop space and materials which in turns helps us create more YouTube Cosplay building content.
It could be a tutorial on a specific project or a personal build. The plan is to be able to release a few videos a week on a regular basis. So far we have been able to keep up the pace but the lack of outside assistance will hurt us in the long run. Like the saying goes, if it was easy, everyone would be doing it.
The YouTube channel we currently run doesn't make much money from Ad Revenue.
You'd be amazed how little ads actually pull in funds.
It's changed a lot these days and it's surprisingly a lot of work to produce a 7-10min video.
Patreon funding allows us to spend more time on this, to make sure these goals are met, without needing to rely on private costume and prop commissions for outside revenue to fund youtube projects and pay for important workshop expenses like rent, tools, materials etc.
Which in the past, had taken all my time away from doing what I actually enjoyed.
Which was bringing you YouTube content

In the end, the funding will go towards making the channel production quality higher and allow us to have the financial ability to build and share many projects and techniques with you all without anything holding me back.

No Pay Wall:
We don't want to keep any videos private in regards to anything I'm working on.
Everything will always stay public. Ultimately, the added pledge support helps to bring more content at a faster rate. Whether you choose to support Heroes Workshop through Patreon,
I will still do my best to continue to create content.

Bonus:
The plan is to eventually make all Premium Pepakura Files Past and Future free when we reach adequate funding. That way any project we build on the YouTube channel for a tutorial and such will include the exact templates used for FREE.

The support at this level allows me to focus more of our time with YouTube to help bring more cosplay building content consistently for you all. We can devote less time to our private commission based business and enjoy building more fun projects. You'll be able to see how they come together in project vlog updates more frequently. It also allows us to expand the types of video in more detail.
