Welcome to homepage of Hellfire: Enhanced mod!
Hellfire Enhanced is a mod for Hellfire v1.01, which modernizes the game.
It allows the game to be played on modern OS, fixes some annoying bugs of the game, activates multiplayer, gives UDP support for multiplayer. Makes all of unique items actually findable!
It was decided to create a mod for Hellfire that would fix some of the most annoying bugs and add some convenience features:
- corrections to unique item levels, which will allow all of them to be found (in Hellfire half of them were unfindable due to developers' misplacing their levels),
- search effect active with auto-map on,
- fixes to some known gameplay bugs,
- fixes to animation of monsters,
- ...list of features to be continued...
Currently available version 1.02 RC 07 is downloadable through this permalink. It is fully functional, has some bugs fixed, and all unique items of Hellfire can actually be found. It requires Hellfire pre-installed. Read the description in the changelog inside the archive for additional info.
