I will make new eBooks of conventions sketches and doodles. I've already released 2, and I have enough material right now for at least 10. I'll post these as they are completed until I run out of material. ($5 Patrons and up)

New HijiNKS ENSUE Websites

I will design and build a brand new website for HijiNKS ENSUE that will make seeing the newest comics, finding the different kinds of comics (HE, Photo Comics, Convention Sketches, etc.) MUCH easier. The comics images will also be about 20% bigger.

I will also build a new website for the HijiNKS ENSUE Podcast and Potter And Daughter.

THE LOST HIJINKS ENSUE PODCAST!

In 2012 I recorded an episode of The HijiNKS ENSUE Podcast with Kris Wilson, creator of Cyanide & Happiness, that was never released. We recorded for 2 hours. I'll release this to Patrons only first, then eventually to the world.

A Second Patron-Only Exclusive Sharksplode Comic

Now I will draw TWO new Sharksplode comics just for Patrons each month.

Record An EP Of Cover Songs!

$3,000 per month

I will record a 5 song EP of covers of my choosing and release them for free to all Patrons. I like tiny wooden instruments, so expect this to be mostly ukulele, guitalele, U-bass and cajon drums. And since I love vocal harmonies, expect a lot of that.

Alt-Text On All HijiNKS ENSUE Comics!

$3,250 per month

I will go back and add alt-text (additional jokes) to every comic in the HE archive. Currently the first few years of comics don't have alt-text.

90s ALT ROCK CHALLENGE LIVE STREAMING CONCERT!

$3,500 per month

I will broadcast a live concert from my office playing only 90s alt-rock songs suggested by Patrons. If I don't already know the song, I'll have to learn it on the fly or fake it. Fans of the old HijiNKS ENSUE Podcast will probably get a kick out of this.

A Second EP Of Cover Songs!

$4,000 per month

I will record 5 more cover songs, and YOU get to choose which songs I record! Well, we'll talk about it. You get to suggest them, but I still have veto power. Same instrumentation as the previous EP goal.

I'm Joel Watson. I live in a suburb of a suburb of Dallas, TX with my wife, daughter and two cats, Tivo and Replay. I've been professionally unemployed as an artist since 2008 thanks to my webcomics HijiNKS ENSUE and Sharksplode and my podcasts, HijiNKS ENSUE and Potter And Daughter. I write and voice act for Cyanide & Happiness and I travel to a bunch of comic conventions each year. I once took a shot of maple bacon tequila out of a Cadbury Creme Egg. I called it a "Sadbury Egg." It was deliciously depressing.

I'm Joel Watson and I make the webcomics HijiNKS ENSUE and Sharksplode. I also make a podcast with my 8 year old daughter called Potter And Daughter, and I write and voice act for The Cynanide & Happiness Show and animated shorts.
