This Patreon Page is Eternally Under Revision

This is for readers of the comic who are interested in helping cover production costs for Cosmic Dash so I can continue to create comics and write short stories. This Patreon page will go through some revisions as I figure out how this all works. I want the bonus for contributors to be great, but everyone is welcome and encouraged to read the comics. I am also taking suggestions for further patron tiers or things I can do to sweeten existing ones. The comics are still completely free to read, I just want a nice platform to provide bonuses to supporters.

What is this Cosmic Dash Thing?

Cosmic Dash is a science fiction action adventure following the exploits of an alien crew aboard a cargo-ship set against the backdrop of an inter-factional cold war. The series features action, adventure, comedy, and heavy continuity. Imagine universes like Star Wars, Star Trek, and Star Fox, only completely free to enjoy online through comics and prose. Best of all, reader interactions can help shape the narrative and as the creator I make sure to respond to every reader to the best of my ability.

The comic has been going on for a while and has not missed an update more than a time or two! Money or not, Cosmic Dash is something I need to do, so no worries about me holding the comic hostage for money. I have also been writing short stories that explore the characters and larger universe and I am increasing those efforts as well. So no matter what, there will be more Cosmic Dash on the way with more and more buildup and epic stories.

What Is the Money Used For?

Any money made through Patreon goes primarily to paying for site hosting costs such as the hosting account or domain name. Additional money goes on to help me pay bills, eat, and live. With more money made through Patreon I can start putting Patreon funds toward commissioning artists, writers, and more to help expand the comic.

So What Do We Get Out of All of This?

Glad you asked. As of now I only have some relatively low-cost tiers of support, as seen later, but I am open to doing more. Contact me with suggestions! Tiers are based on every five pages worth of 
updates. At a page a week you're not paying very often (maybe once a month, more like every other month, however), and that doesn't include the short stories and the bonus content I'll be posting here or on the Cosmic Dash website. All of which I consider to be secondary to the comic, but still provides a lot of great content. Besides that everyone gets access to the tumblr account and the comic streams. Some streams may be Patreon exclusive, if I owe you art you should be able to see me draw it live. I generally try to do the patron streams on Fridays, and will schedule them about a week before they happen.

Currently we have several milestones. One of which is a yearly swag bag that would include prints, buttons, stickers, and some other goodies. We have to meet that milestone before that happens, though. However, we've got plenty of other milestones to look at as well.

Currently Galactic Hub Serreven, the spinoff comic, is under development in a more secretive capacity, and I hope to have more to announce soon. Meanwhile, however Cosmic Dash Minis are available for patrons. These are small comic strips in the Japanese 4 koma style.



Now that we have hit the first milestone, I am now doing wallpapers every month. These can range from character pinups to parody drawings. I also take wallpaper suggestions, so feel free to pitch something.
