Hi, my name is Mark Cribb.  Twenty odd years ago I was lucky enough to finish university and head off on a global adventure.  Along the way I fell in love with human beings and their stories.  Inevitably life on the road meant I stayed in a lot hostels and hotels and ate in a lot of restaurants and cafes.  But often I was also invited into people's home and I experienced the very best of hospitality and saw humanity at it's best.  Whatever the press try and have you believe, most humans on planet earth are absolutely lovely and want nothing more than to smile, chew the fat and share experiences.  All too often nourished and lubricated by some great food and drink.

Unknown at the time this experience led me into a career in hospitality and I have a couple of restaurants and a little hotel in Bournemouth on the south coast of the UK.  It's a challenging sector to work in, but utterly rewarding and crammed full of incredible humans. Through the love of what I do and the respect for the people I meet along the way I launched the Humans Of Hospitality podcast.  Producing and delivering this show weekly puts demands on my time and could become a full time job.  In order to produce the best content I can, on the best equipment and hosted and distributed widely, free of charge, I could really do with your help.  100% of all funds contributed through Patreon will be used to cover the costs of running the podcast with just one goal.  To keep it utterly authentic and to continue to have the very best conversations with the very best humans for you to listen to.  To provoke thoughts, ideas and a shared learning and appreciation for the humans behind so much of what we eat and drink.
