Hello, I'm The Fusilier, and I make Let's Play videos.

All that really means is I play video games, and post the recorded footage online. This trend started some time ago on the Something Awful forums but has now branched out all over, and I base out of the enormous juggernaut of Youtube for all of my content. Everything I produce for the channel is presented free of charge, with short ads before episodes.

My typical style is to commentate live; that is, to play the game, and talk at the same time, rather than adding in post-commentary. This is for several important reasons, including the fact that I can rarely be bothered to exert #effort. It's been known to happen, just not on a regular basis. I feel it also gives a genuine sense of 'playing the game alongside me' in some small way. Hence, "Let's Play."

LPs are a new form of media, although we use the internet and video games. I'm a big consumer of LPs, and the Youtube user GetDaved's work inspired me to finally give it a go... Jesus, has it really been four years ago? Even more? Yeah. I strongly feel like LPs are a way to really experience a game; it's not like playing it, but it gives you a more honest picture about what a game is like than any review, synopsis, article, or commercial.

In my opinion, the highest praise you can pay to an LP is "This helped convince me to buy the game."

What sort of games do I play? Well, a bunch. Strategy games, RPGs, shooters, simulations, I don't really have a preferred type. Or, rather, it changes so often, like many of my interests. But LPing has remained constant as one of my bigger hobbies for years and years. I've produced over 1500+ videos, and some of them have even been decent or even watchable, so I'm told.

Here's a sample of my work.

I'd do this for free, as I did for years. I'm not in any sort of extraordinary situation, I just need money to survive like everybody else. If you have some spare cash and find yourself somehow enjoying my work, you would have my eternal appreciation for pitching in something to this campaign. All I can ask from anybody, really, is five bucks a month.

Any money donated will go to my Paypal account, and from there to my bank account, and will be used for living expenses, college expenses, and of course, as a priority towards expenses related to LPing. As in, the internet bill, any repairs to the computer or new peripherals needed like headset, mouse, etc, and obtaining new games to play.

Thanks for reading this and giving it consideration, it's appreciated more than I can properly express.
