I love enhancing research and making it more accessible for other people and researchers via interactive data visualizations. Through my career I have realized that people tend to spend more time with visually engaging, aesthetic and yet functional tools and make better use of the underlying data.
Several tools I work on are completely open source and are published in peer reviewed journals:
- I-PV: Aims to visualize and analyze protein sequence information. Useful for understanding how mutations are distributed throughout the sequence.
- MUTAFRAME: A single page web app for mutation effect prediction. It uses a custom visualization library called LEXICON to communicate large data sets.
- GWENSPECTOR: A website showcasing collection of Gwent cards from Witcher 3. Features a library I have written to 'fish eye' zoom on html elements.
