It's Allison Pelot of the Integrate Yourself Podcast.  I've been a certified metabolic fitness and nutrition coach for close to 20 years now and my mission is to share with you what matters most to your optimal wellness and how to decipher through all the nonsense.  I'm sharing with you creative ideas for integrating all aspects of health into your life and showing you how you can make these ideas a reality.   To find out more about me and my offerings head over to   Pure Energy Wellness .

The idea for my podcast came about when I'd discuss nutrition as it relates to aging (recovery) and hormonal balance (which is what matters most) and how I was stunned at the level of misinformation in my industry. 

The popular approach;  putting your body under intense stress (like intermittent fasting, cutting out a macronutrient or working out to depletion) to lose weight and get healthy is really suppressing your metabolism.  I realized there was a real need for people to know the truth about how their bodies really work.  More specifically, what you need to thrive as you enter our 40's and beyond.  

My mission is to educate people and share what I've learned about hormonal balance, nutrition, recovery and aging and how you can support your metabolism with science, biology and practical solutions. 

I'm also talking to some of my favorite experts in the field of health and wellness and sharing those interviews with all of you.  Sharing my inspirations, role models and strategies for getting fit and creating optimal health.

I want to make this information available to the world and help make the world a healthier place.  I'd love to get 10% of my audience to become "active participants" which supports a larger part to the community and helps me get this information out to more people who can benefit.

My intention is to create valuable content for my patrons as well as provide a place they can come to for support and valuable information.  I promise that what you contribute will go back into creating more amazing content, videos and podcasts about nutrition, recovery, aging and hormonal balance.
