2019.05.31: v3.0 released! BIG update.

Hello! I'm Iris Jay.
Pan as hell and trans as fuck; pronouns are she/they.
I've been publishing comics online for over a decade, with three webcomic series completed and one (and counting) currently running. You can view my portfolio at http://irisjay.net. If I had to put a thesis statement to my current work output, it'd probably be something like "exploring the intersection between technology, identity and community in our increasingly complex age", though "getting you emotionally invested in bad jokes, swordfights and porn" would probably work just as well.

You can read my work here:
http://epiphany.irisjay.net - Epiphany. 2008-2013. Deer kid teams up with slacker ex-god to save his dad. Very magical realist. Screamingly closeted in retrospect, admittedly.
http://crossedwires.irisjay.net - Crossed Wires. 2014-ongoing. Queer hackers uncover a corporate conspiracy. Takes place in an Internet similar to ours, but with slightly better graphics. Not "cyberpunk" as in "neon cities and bionic limbs", "cyber punk" as in "a laptop and a wi-fi connection is all I need to wreck your shit."
http://members.slipshine.net/goldentrick - Golden Trick! 2017-2019. Co-created with Nero O'Reilly. A pair of con men use their wits, their sex appeal, and their magic powers to escape the walled city they call home. Look away, kids-- this one's ages 18 and up only.

This is my full-time job. I make ends meet through a variety of income sources (comic and illustration contracts, merch sales, personal commissions), but having a steady amount of money each month that I can count on really helps keep things stable. With your support, I'll be able to focus on producing exciting, provocative and boundary-pushing comic work.

Let's keep things simple. $2/mo gets you access to early updates-- you'll see any comics I self-publish on public sites an entire month in advance. $5/mo gets you a subscription to EYESORE, a zine of sketches, works in progress and project updates I'll be publishing once every two months. The first issue will be out soon, so keep an eye peeled.

Thank you so much! Whether you decide to become a subscriber or not, I appreciate your interest in my work!
