Irodama Chainmaille & Bead Jewelry is my passion and my main creative outlet. I started making chainmaille four years ago after being inspired by a simple piece of linked rings a friend made. My first pieces were made with inexpensive pliers and craft rings from Michael's craft store! I have since upgraded to using higher quality tools, metals, and incorporating beads into my work. However, even after four years, it's hard to keep my head above water when it comes to making things work!

By choosing to be a Patron of Irodama at any level, you are making it that much easier for me to afford the supplies that go into my pieces. Chainmaille is hard on the tools and I do know that I will have to, eventually, replace or upgrade what I have. Patronage counts towards my being able to do that as well. My own personal circumstances aside, I've had people ask me about ways that they could help outside of when I do a few conventions a year. I hope that I might be able to swing the occasional advertising stint either on my Facebook page, Etsy page, or to push perhaps some sort of drive to the website linked at the beginning of this page.

Every month (once we reach between 5 and 10 patrons), there will be a raffle for some sort of jewelry item. At the start, the offerings are going to be very simple pieces, things from my current stock or things that can be made quickly with existing supplies. As my ability to make more increases, I will include chances for a personalized commission into the raffle. I will keep track of all raffle entries you earn from month to month and you can feel free to message me when you want those entries put towards that month's item. Otherwise you can save them to count towards something you really, really like! Also, if an item is customizable it will be listed in its description during the raffle period. (Currently that extends to bracelet length, but may include colors/beads/charms and eventually earring hook/post/clip type.)

Watch this space, I'll come out with more as things progress!

- Note: For international supporters, I may not be able to cover international shipping fees on my own for a while. If you are willing to pay for the shipping, I welcome your support and will happily send you any raffle winnings and customize things for you!
Goals
$0 of $50 per month
I will be able to expand my ring supplies, beads, and charms as well as other findings.
