About Rachel McMurray

Hello, fellow movie lovers! I'm back at it again for the third year running - I have a magical mystical movie card that allows me unlimited access to free movies in theaters all across this great nation. And because I LOVE movies more than pretty much most things, I want to write about them. Not just if they're "good" or "bad" but are they good for what they are? Are they entertaining as hell even though they're awful? Do they contain 2 minutes of interesting among 90 minutes of crap? Nicolas Cage - what exactly is he doing here? Whatever the case may be, I want to write about it and share it with you so you can decide how you want to spend your time and money. My goal is 119 movies seen in theaters in 2019.

I believe movies are one of the most powerful tools we have to create connections, encourage empathy, and reflect the best and worst of humanity back at us so we can try to do some learning and some growing. I also believe that one of the greatest cinematic experiences of my life was the first time I saw the cow float by not once but twice during Twister. If you're interested in reading more about the current releases at the multiplex and maybe some golden oldies along the way, I would love it if you would support me on this journey. Here's to #119in2019!
