Here is one of my favorite movements from the Geminiani sonatas. I've added my usual talking bit to the end of the video as some people express wanting to hear the music first. Let me know what you think of this. This is also my first video edited in Adobe Premiere, a huge upgrade from iMovie, which I've used up til now. I'm excited to see where I can take my videos now that I'm using better software.

Hi patrons,
This is a video I think will be really useful for cellists and string players. Many are interested in learning how to play in the baroque style but don't know where to start and don't know if they need to change their instrument set-up. This outlines some of the differences of baroque and modern style, and how to implement those differences using "modern" (normal) equipment.

This is one of my longest lesson videos yet, so I hope lots of string players will find it useful!

Hi patrons,

I was so excited to have my friend James join me for this video. These duets are very sweet little pieces, and although they're originally intended for bassoon, they work really nicely on cello. I also talked to James a bit at the end of the video about playing in the French style.
