Well hello there, internet.

My name is Jackson Collier, and I like to call myself a writer. I don't call myself a writer because Twain is a writer. Conroy is a writer. Wordsworth. Poe. Dickinson. Christie. Tennyson. Keats. I'm just a young man that loves to write, so that's what I do.

I'm currently working, in school, and trying to write as much as possible. I'm working on my second novel at what seems to be a snails' pace, but that's okay! Quality over quantity, right? I finished my first novel last November and threw it in a drawer not to look at for a year. I wrote the whole thing by hand, 70,000 words, and then typed it up just in case.

I found this passion to write when I was young and would stare at a blank piece of paper just wishing I had something to say. When I found a voice I began filling those pages, whether the writing was good or not. I've come a long way since I was that little kid begging his brain to make words jump on a page, but I know I still have a long way to go.

Along the way, people started enjoying my writing. People were relating to what I was writing about, and I was making them feel and think and it was wonderful. As soon as I started putting some of my work out to the public, I received words of encouragement from places I never imagined I would.

Blogging has become a passion of mine because it is more than just posting random thoughts on the internet for all to read, but I've found that it's a way to reach and help many people. By being honest of my own feelings, by posting recipes, and by posting lighthearted content, I am helping better people. I am helping better their understanding of themselves and helping them in different skills like cooking.

I will write regardless because I love to do it, but with as little money as I make at my job, and as little time as I have between that and school, having patrons would mean being able to put out more kinds of content with an increase in quality.

Obviously there is no requirement to become a patron, and I don't have anywhere near a big enough sized following to warrant a whole lot of money from patrons, but I can guarantee that I put out content of the highest quality and some of the most honest, thought-provoking pieces of literature you will ever read.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this, and I appreciate you even looking at my patreon page. If you do choose to become a patron, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. It is something I will never forget. Thank you .
