I'm not just an artist, I also play one on the Internet.

First off, thanks so much to each and every one of you. You've helped keep me going with my trans/multi-media/cross-genre work. I'm a disabled artist and writer, and support here is one of the things that lets me do what I do.

What's that? My goal is the same as it has always been: to produce art, and to help other people with their projects. We like to hole up in our studios and get work done, but it's just as important to build connections and share ideas and even source materials -- build an art community both virtually and irl. I've got a hard-on for theory, and a sarcastic sense of humor, but in this I'm dead serious.

A bit about me: You can read more about what I've done in the past here

I'm currently working on two books: an illustrated novel, Tales From When I Had A Face, a book in the Fallen Cycle transmedia series, BLACKOUT, a Fallen Cycle webcomic, and Masks: Bowie and Artists of Artifice, an interdisciplinary anthology.

I also edit and curate the content for Modern Mythology, which has been running since 2006, though I revamped and started it over last year.

I'd love to share more of this work with you — and to support producing it in the first place — which is what brings me to Patreon. And to you.

You'll be helping to fund the ongoing substantial research for a variety of projects that you can see on MythosMedia.net and ModernMythology.net. Right now, that means sustaining the R&D for Masks: Bowie and Artists of Artifice and Narrative Machines.

In a real world sense, this will be covering the base cost of software rental, server space, and all the other things I do to keep these projects running at a baseline level.
