My name is James J. Jackson.  I write poetry and blog about politics, art, and much more.

Patrons can access my blog, The Weekly Protest.

The objective of the blog is three-fold:

1. To create a community with my audience, a place where the freaks, the weirdos, the whores, the bums, the fighters, and the pinkos can belong, a place where they can feel heard and seen.
2. To connect my audience to each other and guide them to the people and organizations doing the hard work.
3. To help pay for my crippling alcohol, cigar, and cannabis habits, oh and for rent/food I guess.
