About
I am going to change the way that the world perceives economy and democracy and it all begins with my magnum opus, JoatU. I hope to reintroduce North America to barter, exchange, community values and community living. To reinvigorate local communities and to inspire a local direct democracy.
As an individual, I am a jack of all trades. I've been known as a community organizer, activist, photographer, poet, poker player, philosopher and ethical marketer. I am also a novice illustrator and incredibly novice musician.
Another dear project I have been working on for nearly three years is my home. An 11 year in the making space for collaborative creation and community gatherings. We are approximately 15 people, one dog, two cats, and two rats living together working towards building a sustainable alternative to the current ways of individualistic life. We actively open our home for creative collaboration, community groups, food not bombs and other community kitchen gatherings as well as having a general non-commercial space for people to drop by and be a part of our community.
