Hi there!

My name is Jan-Tarek. I am 24 years old and currently studying in bachelor of computer science.
I spend most of my free time doing voluntary work in developing software and Micro-controller systems.

My main interests belongs to embedded robotic systems, decentralized sensor networks; and automation systems. I am also developing and maintaining in some public voluntary projects like one of the biggest one, called "Nordwest Freifunk", since 6 years. All the work I have done including the one that will be happens in future are open source and free. That is why I have setup a Patreon-page. I would like to spend my time mostly on public voluntary open source projects.

In case you're new to Patreon, here's a quick summary: Patreon is a crowdfunding platform that allows creators to get regular monthly income (a bit like a financial help) for long-term work. This is in contrast to "traditional" crowdfunding platforms like Kickstarter that target one-off projects with clearly defined start and end dates. If you want to support me, you can click the "Become a Patron" button on this page, and then choose the monthly amount of money that will be automatically charged from your PayPal account or your credit card and paid to me in the beginning of each month (Patreon will take a 5% cut, and there are some credit card fees that are subtracted from the amount that reaches me). You can change your pledge amount or stop being a supporter at any time. As an example, supporting me with just 1$ per month means you paid 1.15€ due to  the german taxes and maybe Pay pal fees depending on the exchange rate; and from that I will receive 0.90€ which will help me a lot.
