Behind-the-Scenes Videos
As a $500 milestone, I will dish in video form on the songwriting, production and anything else related to the music being released. That means showing how I get the cool sounds, what goes into the mix, why the songs exist in the first place, etc.
Rock'n'Roll Ride-Along
At the $1000 mark, it's time to celebrate. I will take you to virtually meet the colorful characters (believe me) that populate my world - musicians, recording engineers, and general Inspirers of Awesome. Secrets will be told! Coffee will be drunk! Not a dull moment, to be sure.
Beautiful Music Videos
The moment I reach $2500 a month, I will bring in some of my talented filmmaker friends to transport you not just musically but visually, in the form of art-film style music videos. And who helps me choose which songs get the full treatment? YOU, my subscribers, of course. This will be very exciting because (a.) the music is often very cinematic in nature and would translate beautifully to film, and (b.) it would hugely enhance the experience of the music in an increasingly visual world.
Full-Band Live Concert Video
I have an incredible band at my disposal here in LA - I mean really, really great - and would love the chance to parade their rippingness before thee. Reaching this $5k goal means properly recording the lads in a live environment, so that my far-flung friends around the world can bring the full concert experience home.

My musical journey has taken me from my hometown in the Canadian prairies to the jungles of the tropics, the great cities and stages of the Western world, and more often than not, Los Angeles. I've worked with my heroes like Carlos Santana and War, and produced all kinds of records for everyone else… now I'm doing my own thang. Please join me on the path!

Why I'm here
I live to make soul-delving, genre-busting, noise-cancelling music.
Music is crazy. It can do so much more than just entertain: it can give the spirit license, permission, a voice. It can respond to the world around us as well as within us. At its best, music can actually translate un-tellable truths, tapping into that place my hero Daniel Lanois calls the 'rebel mind'…a glimpse of the raw, soulful self, outside what we were taught by our circumstances, by society, by our critics.

I recently experimented with putting out a song per month via social media, and the response was incredible: people showed a real desire to support the work. Here's what they sound like:
I've since discovered what I feel is an even better way to release my music, and you're looking at it: PATREON. By allowing music lovers to subscribe to their favorite artists in micro-payments, Patreon is making a huge difference for 1000s of creatives, empowering them to thrive and create on a consistent basis -- in direct communication with their fans.
