My name is JB Roe. I'm an artist and illustrator based out of Chicago, IL. I'm the co-creator of Brainbuster 2019 along with James Henry Dufresne, a weirdo wrestling comic set in a post-apocalyptic world filled with mutants, street gangs, death cults, and mayhem. I also make drawing zines like Suplex Superstars, a pro wrestling-themed drawing zine, and other comics about stuff that I think is COOL, and SO SHOULD YOU.

I want to make comics for a living, but it isn't easy to make the jump. Bills keep coming, rent is always due, and loans won't pay themselves. That's why I have a day job, doing something that has nothing to do with my skill set. I think it's time to change that. I know I'm good enough to take on the challenge, but I can't do it alone. You can be the person that will help make that dream A REALITY.

Of course, I'm can't just up and quit my job. I like not being on the verge of homelessness. And I'm not going to ask for handouts. Instead, I would like to put my work right into the hands of those that support my projects directly. No middle man! With your monetary support, I'll be able to continue building up a body of work over the next year with the intention of becoming a published artist so I can quit my day job and finally do what I love doing for a living.
