Cover of Paul Simon's "Graceland"

This is a song I've been wanting to cover for a long time, but I wasn't sure how to do it. I came up with this arrangement over the past few days, though, and it felt like a good fit to me. Hope you dig it. Also, I just moved to San Francisco! I recorded this in my new apartment. Fun stuff so far.

Shawn I wouldn't mind knowing if there'll be a download option too before I make my order on her bandcamp page... I know I'm missing the other song "Dear Someone (w/ Graham Patzner)" which I'll be buying, but this one is a bit of a mystery.

How Patreon Creators Are Making Money

Hey Folks! Our team here at the command center recently ran a data study on pledge amounts and creator earnings. Before diving headlong into an analysis of the results, we wanted to first share the findings with the community. We are extremely curious how creators and patrons will interpret this data while it’s fresh out the kitchen. Here’s what we’ve found: Pledge Data $1 pledges account for 33% of all pledges $5 pledges account for 22% of all pledges $10 pledges account for 10% of all pledges $10 pledges and below account for 90% of all pledges Creator Earnings Data 5.2% of creator earnings come from $1 pledges 33% of creator earnings come from $5 and $10 pledges combined 50% of creator income comes from $10 pledges and below 26% of creator earnings come from $50+ pledges (2% of all pledges) 15% of creator earnings come from $100+ pledges (0.65% of all pledges) There it is, short and sweet! So which of these stats strike a chord with you? What numbers do you find most interesting? Remember, we aren’t trying to make recommendations with this data. Nor are we using them to imply any kind of best practices for setting pledges. We simply believe this data serves as a solid starting point for discussions on why creators and patrons chose certain pledge levels, and how our team can potentially provide guidance for these decisions. We’d love to hear your thoughts!
