One of the ways that I’ve always tried to make sense of the world around me is to write about it. Sometimes for myself, sometimes to try to explain something to others.

An issue that keeps coming up, over and over again in my career, is the way we feel at work. I’ve worked in a variety of industries: retail, hospitality, government, real estate, the tech industry and one thing remains consistent–people are confused about how they feel and how to respond to the way they’ve been treated, or have been treating each other.

Last year, I decided to pursue the project I had tried to push along throughout the years: writing about emotional intelligence and workplace safety.

So I’ve been reading, researching, and observing workplaces and use cases for the past year in order to write responsible resources for people out there like me. With the newsletter, The Intangible, it’s my hope to take some of my research, topic by topic, and create a monthly conversation. What I will learn from those conversations will help me complete my ultimate goal of creating a series of short guides to be used as resources: The Field Guides for Feelings, 25-page e-books providing guidance for workplace environments and beyond.

By joining me on this new endeavor I promise to keep you updated with any new findings on a weekly basis, as well as sending you a monthly newsletter to keep you updated on the progress of these projects. You’ll also get exclusive access to the first versions of The Field Guides for Feelings series, and a special place in the dedication. I hope you’ll join me!
