I've decided to join Patreon as a creator because I want to make stuff and share it with you!
I want to tell you immediately that everything that I create and post online (videos, writing, cat photographs) will continue to flow freely - both figuratively and literally. That's not going to change.
The purpose of this page is multifold:
-to bring a whole bunch of JOY content into one feed
-to give any interested folks a seamless way to support the (JOY)arts in an ongoing low-impact way
-to make it easier for us to interact with each other, and for y'all to connect to one another as well
I'll be creating a higher volume of videos - videos of me performing my own songs, videos of me covering songs I love, and videos of me answering your questions. I made a handful of cooking and drink-making tutorial videos for my recent PledgeMusic campaign, and I'd like to make more of those as well - many kitchen-y stones remain as yet unturned.
I'm also super interested in making things outside of the precise category of "music" and sharing them here, and that will develop as this page becomes more fleshed out and alive. A Buffy the Vampire Slayer podcast is high on my priority list... but I want to know what YOU want too. And if the Venn diagram of what I want to make and what you want to see/hear/watch has some overlap, then we'll REALLY be in a party zone.
