Printing my first Web Comic Shirts
$300 per month
With $300, I could finally print my first batch of web comic shirts! $300 would pay for the first batch of 50 shirts- which then i could sell at conventions and such things.

I'd love to print more than 50, but $300 would and that first batch would definitely get me on my way!
Cintiq aka the God Sword of Digital Illustrating
$1,900 per month

....really, there's no words for this. I would be a God Illustrator with this tool. This weapon. THIS BATTLE AXE.

*clears throat* excuse me, sorry.

This particular cintiq is made to be mobile- as I do bring my easel and markers to gigs to do live caricatures, the cintiq would allow me to cross over to live digital caricaturing- which has a different affect and is something that is starting to trend among live art caricaturists.

Asides that, the cintiq is considered to be THE top technology out there for aspiring digital artists- and allows you the comfort of drawing on an interactive screen vs using a tablet (which I use now), where you have to look at the computer monitor instead of looking down at the tablet (takes some time to get used to, not as comfortable or natural as drawing with a cintiq)

---If I'm able to raise this kind of money, I will find each and every one of you that contributed and GIVE YOU A BEAR HUG. or a smaller hug.

..whatever you desire.
Full-Time Freelance Artist
$2,400 per month

If I'm able to raise $2400 a month, that comes out to about $15/hr - the minimum I would need towards my goal of a sustainable living as a full-time , freelance artist.

This would allow me WAY more time work on comics, prints, and commissions FOR YOU.

And probably save me money on the amount of caffeine I buy to stay awake.

About

Illustrator. Graphic Designer. Doodler Extraordinaire.

Jeremy The Artist currently works as a web comic artist for the spectacular, infamous comic site My Talking Head, as well as a freelance illustrator and graphic designer as well as a caricaturist for local musical and artistic events.

Jeremy The Artist is a hot-blooded, fun loving cartoonist & doodler who follows his heart and sometimes his brain, only when the notion is of something slightly mischievous and somewhat crazy. Jeremy The Artist loves egg salad sandwiches with bacon and adores most animals, though he has a soft spot for tiny dogs and hamsters.

Jeremy The Artist’s life philosophy is such: “Es mejor morir de pie que vivir de rodillas” [It is better to die on your feet than to live on your knees].

"Jeremy has the heart and soul of an artist."
Shannon Wheeler, NY Times Cartoonist & Illustrator, www.tmcm.com/

"Jeremy’s art never leaves me indifferent. Moving from cartoon, to underground comic style and to caricature, he has a unique vibrating style, full of strength and passion. But most of all, in every single line of his drawings, you can see the love for what he does."

Hello Potential Patron!

My name is Jeremy and I freelance illustration work, caricatures, work on comics & do drawing videos. All this, while trying not to succumb to complete financial failure. I need your help.

Out of the zillion projects I'm attempting to do simultaneously, the passion project of mine is www.mytalkinghead.com , my own web comic site, where you can see comics like this:

**UPDATE: I'm REBUILDING My Talking Head from scratch**

Long story short, I couldn't foot the last bill on the domain and lost the site that I have been updating/designing/putting cartoons on for about 3 years. I recently got the domain back but the entire site is now gone.....a lot of those toons were only stored on a now deceased laptop.

So, back from scratch we start again. We are coming back stronger, and more defiant. My temporary home is on the lovely web comic community of Tapastic, which is where the site redirects to and where I'll live until I have time to build another "house".

All my other works can be found here: www.jeremytheartist.com
My drawing show, which is co-run by my amigo Paulo can be found here: Broken Led

I freelance as a caricaturist at parties and events---also, I draw some for commission/for my own practice digitally:

-Robert Rodriguez, Director of From Dusk til Dawn, El Mariachi, Sin City

- Quentin Tarantino, Director of Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Django Unchained

----When I'm not doodling comics or caricatures, I doodle a variety of  other things:

A poster I did in tribute to the movie, "Sharknado"

A Gamera redesign I'm working on-

A page from a children's book I was commissioned to create

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

- I love drawing ---  but I maintain 2 contracting jobs and a  day job to do the majority of it on the side.

With your help, there's the possibility of actually working less of what I need to do, and more of what I want to do.

More comics, more caricatures, more illustration works.

I've struggled and fought for what I have today, and am grateful for every opportunity...but I think it can be even better.

Of course, I am very willing to give back to you my friend--- please see below for such things you can receive for helping this lil' ol' doodler.
