"The Things That Scare You About Being Human" and Even Less Contracts
I've written a follow up record to my 2014 release "The World Doesn't Need Another Record". I just haven't had the time to record and release it yet as I've been focusing on getting this YouTube channel a constant flow of free, high quality content. Making 100$ per video will be an amazing step forwards in my career and will allow me to take even less odd photo/video work on the side. Once it's made, every patron I have will receive a free copy of the record with exclusive content.
Let's Add Some Movement and Taking The Rare Contract
Right now my camera is locked down and steady. I'm in front of and behind the camera at any given time... This makes it very tough to add a ton of dynamic movement to the video. Making 300$ per video would allow me to hire someone to help me shoot and I would only have to take the odd photo/video contract to make a living.
This Is My Job Now
Making 500$ per video allows me to make music for a living. It's as easy as that. If I reach this goal I'll make exclusive physical copies of "The World Doesn't Need Another Record" and "The Things That Scare You About Being Human" for anyone patron who is helping me when I reach the goal. These albums have only ever lived online, so they'll be extremely rare once they've been distributed.
Let's Make A Band
Making 1000$ per video allows me to pay and support other artists so that we can make thoughtful music together as a real group. This would be reflected in touring, record producing, and the YouTube videos that we would post of original/cover material. This is the true goal.
