Hi there! My name is Jess. I write stories, essays, poems, songs, and sometimes podcasts. You may know my award-winning sci-fi audio drama The Strange Case of Starship Iris. I also write for Unwell, a midwestern gothic mystery. I have a twitter here and a tumblr here. I'm in the process of trying to publish a YA novel, tentatively titled Pretending To Date Gabe Novak (a queer fake-dating teen rom com about politics, mental illness, friendship, and the healing power of rock music.) 

I love making things, and I'd love to spend more time making things. As a freelancer, this would be easier and more sustainable if I stood the chance of earning a few bucks along the way, so this is me passing the hat.
