Hello all! I'm Josh Fruhlinger and I'm the creator of The Comics Curmudgeon, a blog where I make fun of daily comic strips. I've been doing this for 12 years now, so I'm officially the oldest blogger alive! I also am a freelance writer for various outlets, I host a live comedy show in Los Angeles once a month, and I wrote a novel, The Enthusiast. I'm also on Tumblr and have a surprisingly popular Twitter account.

The Comics Curmudgeon has always run semi-annual pledge drives to help provide the income I need to dedicate all the time and resources to the site that it and you deserve. Lately some people have wondered if they can pledge to help me via Patreon, and who am I to say no! At the moment, I'm starting small here -- a $2/month award that gets you a tote bag if you want it, just like a $25 donation would during a pledge drive. But I have some other ideas for potential new tiers and rewards for the future. Stay tuned!

Backers get a stylish Comics Curmudgeon tote bag, upon request, and also get the satisfaction of being a Patron of the Comedic Arts! Note that this is the equivalent of the $2 tier under Patreon's new fee structure (you'll be charged $1.99 after fees).

Backers get a stylish Comics Curmudgeon tote bag, upon request, and also get the satisfaction of being a Patron of the Comedic Arts! Please note that starting January 1, after fees you'll be charged $2.41 per month. I am cooking up some reward ideas for 2018 but feel free to switch the $1.60 reward tier to actually pay $2 a month.
